Abstract


In the disaster recovery storage system in order to ensure the system's high reliability and high availability, extensive use of fault detection techniques , by timely and accurately identify the fault and take appropriate action to ensure reliability. WAN with high latency, high jitter characteristics , the traditional fault detection can not adapt to WAN -based disaster recovery storage systems. Based converged intelligent disaster recovery storage system architecture for disaster recovery storage system fault detection techniques are studied , designed and implemented based WAN environment fault detection strategy WSFD, this strategy can adapt WAN environment, with shorter the detection time and high detection accuracy . Then WSFD fault detection strategy is based on the design of an application migration strategy , application servers, storage controller detects a fault occurs initiative to migrate to remote storage controller , to ensure system availability and business continuity. Combined with the actual environment strategy for fault detection and application migration strategy was tested , fault detection strategy compared to the classical adaptive detection algorithm and traditional Heartbeat detection method has higher detection accuracy and shorter detection time , better adapt to the disaster recovery storage systems. Two points on the basis of disaster recovery storage extended to multi-point disaster recovery storage systems , analysis of the multi-point scale disaster recovery system fault detection features as well as some detection methods for multi -site disaster tolerance overhead storage system fault detection of explosive growth characteristics, the design of a low-overhead packet failure detection strategy that can adapt to an environment more tolerant system , reducing the generated node failure detection due to load and network load .
