Abstract: Objective To investigate the role of adipokines inflammation significance of atherosclerosis in SLE ??. Methods ELISA method to detect SLE patients and healthy control group , and among subgroups of SLE serum leptin ( leptin ) , visfatin ( visfatin ) , Lp-PLA2 , Hcy concentration and detection baPWV, ABI, CIMT, by comparing evaluation adipokines role in the development of atherosclerosis in SLE ??occurs . Lupus group compared with the control group , the adipokines leptin concentration was significantly higher ( P lt ; 0.01 ) the visfatin higher than control group ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , atherosclerosis indicators baPWV significantly higher (P lt ; 0.01 ) . Between subgroups of SLE , hypertension and non- hypertension group compared the visfatin higher than the hypertension group ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , baPWV significantly higher than those without hypertension group ( P lt ; 0.01 ) ; course of GT ; 5 - year group and lt ; compared to 5 - year group , baPWV significantly higher than the lt ; 5 - year group ; renal impairment group compared with the non-renal damage group , CIMT higher than the non- renal impairment group ( P lt ; 0.05 ) . The baPWV adipokines leptin and Visfatin in all subjects , atherosclerosis index was statistically significant ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; inflammatory markers Hcy leptin and Visfatin correlation ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; the inflammatory markers LP - PLA2 with leptin and Visfatin was significantly associated ( P lt ; 0.01 ) . Conclusion : Leptin and Visfatin may be mediated inflammatory reaction involved in the artery development and progression of atherosclerosis in SLE ??.
