Abstract


Objective: To compare transjugular portal vein shunt ( TIPS ) , ultrasound-guided percutaneous gastric coronary vein embolization ( PTVE ) the two interventional treatment options with portal hypertension caused by upper gastrointestinal bleeding efficacy , by contrast, actively explore interventional treatment program to make it more effective for the treatment of upper gastrointestinal bleeding caused by portal hypertension effect further improve patients . Methods : follow-up of more than 3 years ( including deaths during follow-up ) , 39 patients with cirrhosis cause upper gastrointestinal bleeding patients were retrospectively analyzed , and the patients were divided into 2 groups . A group received TIPS therapy alone , a total of nine cases , B group received PTVE treatment of 30 cases by endoscopy and barium thoroughly review the extent of 1,3,6 eclipse Road varices and bleeding recurrence rate by ultrasound after TIPS stent patency to determine the efficacy . Results: Both treatment regimens can effectively control due to cirrhosis of the liver caused by upper gastrointestinal bleeding and reduce the recurrence rate of bleeding was statistically significant difference in efficacy between the two groups . For the reduction of portal vein pressure , bleeding the efficiency and bleeding recurrence rate , group A was significantly better than in group B ( P lt ; 0.05 ) . PTVE is suitable for emergency hemostasis hemostatic method and do not have the conditions of the TIPS . Conclusion: This study interventional therapy has positive clinical efficacy in patients with anatomical conditions and economic conditions permit , the preferred TIPS treatment programs .
