Abstract

Abstract Objective To evaluate the Integrative treatment of severe hepatitis severe hepatitis and liver failure, \Database (CBM), Chinese Scientific Journals Full-text database - Integrative Medicine in the treatment of severe hepatitis, according to the Cochrane review manual quality assessment and submit data [PubMed. data knowledge platform for meta-analysis using Stata 9.0 software for meta-analysis, numerical variables calculated standardized mean difference (SMD) and 95% confidence interval (CI); categorical variables to calculate the odds ratio (OR) and 95% CI were detected in 500, with Thesis The author's name, the source, as well as a summary, which re-randomized controlled trial (RCT) as the search term, sieve 78 randomized controlled trials, excluding incomplete data OUTCOME MEASURES different inclusion criteria, the last 17 of the literature 1492 patients were included in the analysis, Integrative group of 750 cases, male 582 cases, female 168 cases. Purely Western medicine treatment group 742 cases, 579 cases of male and female 163 cases. The literature quality Jadad score 3 points 1, 2 minutes and 16, a total of 1492 patients with meta-analysis. The meta-analysis showed that: (a), ALT decreased: 12 articles selected 563 cases, 549 cases of the control group, the treatment group. Compared with the purely Western medicine treatment control group, four weeks of treatment, Integrative ALT decline in the extent of the treatment group (350U / L) higher than that of the control group (315U / L), SMD value -0.71,95% CI: -1.16 to -0.25 P lt; 0.05, the difference was statistically significant, prompt Integrative ALT levels in the treatment group decreased more significantly, (b), total bilirubin decline: 15 articles selected, the control group, 685 cases, 689 cases of the treatment group. Integrative Medicine treatment group, total bilirubin level (225umol / L) higher than that of the control group (147umol / L), the SMD the value of -0.88,95% CI: -1.11 to -0.65, P lt; 0.05, the difference was statistically Integrative Medicine significance, suggesting a more significant decline in total bilirubin. (C), PTA rebound: 13 literature selected control group of 609 cases, 619 cases of the treatment group, Integrative treatment group PTA rising level higher than that of the control group (39.28%) (20.96%), SMD = 1.19, 95% CI: 0.77 to 1.61, P lt; 0.05 difference was statistically significant, the combination therapy group PTA rising level more significant in the prompt. (D) Efficiency: 17 literature selected control group of 737 cases, 748 cases of the treatment group, the combination therapy group efficiency (77.0%) higher than that of the control group (53.7%), 23.3% efficiency, odds ratio (OR) value of 2.94,95% CI :2.34-3 7.71; P lt; 0.05, the difference was statistically significant, suggesting Integrative Medicine to improve the efficiency. (E) mortality: 9 literature selected 438 cases of 459 cases of the control group, the treatment group, the average fatality rate of purely Western medicine treatment group was 40.7%, the combination of Chinese and Western medicine treatment group mortality averaged 22.4%, OR, the value of 2.50 , 95% CI: 1.85 ~ 3.37, p lt; 0.05, the difference was statistically significant, combination therapy reduced mortality in patients prompt. Conclusion Integrative treatment of severe hepatitis, liver transaminases, jaundice decline and rebound of the PTA is more significant, improve efficiency, and reduce mortality. Integrative Medicine is superior to Western medicine treatment alone.
