Abstract

Background:Cardiovascular disease is a serious threat to human health, the incidence rate, mortality and morbidity increase year by year, seventy-five percents of cardiovascular disease is the pathological basis of atherosclerosis, mainly including coronary artery disease and stroke, in which the myocardial infarction and ischemic mainly stroke cause the patient to death and disability, although the current treatment of atherosclerosis has got a lot of progress, but it still has no major breakthrough, AS is still a lifelong disease, it need lifelong treatment , so the search for the new methods and new target of the effective anti-atherosclerosis is very important. The application of PAS therapy is at the basis of anti-platelet aggregation drugs,Then combines with the Statins and antioxidant probucol, currently there are many reports about this therapy, either animal or clinical case observations, we think that the therapy in the treatment of atherosclerosis will have a broad application in the future. But current at home and abroad about the visual research of the extent of plaque reversal is still less, large-scale clinical cases till need to be collected to look for evidence based medicine. In this study, patients with coronary atherosclerosis will use the PAS therapy, In the application of 256-row cardiac CT or coronary angiography we can assessment of the degree reversal of plaque before and after treatment to provide the visual evidence for PAS therapy .Experimental purposes:Discuss the effect on the coronary atherosclerotic plaque regression made by PAS therapy (Probucol; Asprin ,Statin atorvastatin), and provide new clinical and theoretical basis for the PAS therapy .Experimental Methods:Select 75 cases in which coronary angiography or 256-slice spiral CT examination confirmed that they at least have one coronary artery stenosis greater than 30%,The patients in selected in the last 12 months or at least 3 months are not treated with lipid-lowering drugs, give PAS therapy one year , the final 45 patients after the therapy again do the 256-slice spiral CT examination or coronary angiography, and to ensure that every patient to do the same check twice to make the results comparable. In 45 patients, 18 patients had at least one vessel stenosis≥70%, but because of patient’s condition, economic conditions and other factors not do surgery or stent. Test lipid on time. Compare the blood lipid levels and extent of plaque reversal of patients before and after PAS treatment. The results:1 after treatment TG (1.32士0.64) mmol/l, TC (3.56士1.21) mmol/l, LDL-C (1.68士0.67) mmol/l, HDL-C (1.25士0.40) mmol/l were higher than those before treatment TG (1.88士0.74) mmol/l, TC (5.02士1.27) mmol/l, LDL-C (2.81士0.69) mmol/l, HDL-C (1.51士0.50) mmol/l decreased significantly lower in the statistically significant (p <0.01).2 vascular stenosis before treatment was 0.58±0.17, 0.53±0.19 after treatment, the difference was 0.05±0.11, patch length of 10.63±3.88mm before treatment, after treatment, 9.36±3.46mm, difference 1.28±2.63mm, after treatment less than before treatment in two indicators, statistically significant (p <0.01).Experimental conclusions:1 PAS therapy can reduce the TG, TC, LDL-C and HDL-C level, to play the role of anti-atherosclerosis, in which LDL-C reduce more.2 PAS therapy can improve the vascular stenosis, reduce plaque length, and achieve a reversal of atherosclerotic plaque.3 PAS therapy is safe and effective in clinical treatment.
