Abstract


Chongqing is located in the confluence of the Yangtze River and Jialing River , the Yangtze River upper reaches of the commodity distribution center . Before its inception , the powers to Customs through Hankou and Yichang to Chongqing bead trade input in the form of foreign goods . 1891 the British government agreed through military coercion Qing monarch as a commercial port in Chongqing . After its inception in Chongqing , Chongqing import and export trade has shown rapid development momentum. In the process of development in Chongqing this trade gradually from the traditional military town became the commercial center of the Yangtze River . This means of Chongqing and Hankou , Yichang Customs Trade Reporting and customs statistics original file data and quantitative analysis using statistical methods, 1873-1919 29 years of the evolution of Chongqing import and export trade , trade characteristics, commodity structure for a specific research and analysis in order to better explore the whole Sichuan, Chongqing, southwest of Port on regional economic development. Thesis consists of three main parts: the first part of the analysis summarized in Chongqing before Opening of import and export trade and its trading features. The second part of the analysis of import and export trade in Chongqing after the Opening of the overall situation and its impact on the business reason for the change , and summarize the characteristics of trade in and out , and then the commodity structure analyzed and discussed . The third part, Chongqing explore the impact of its inception .
