Abstract


With modern digital information processing enterprises dependence enterprise data has become an important business asset , data backup technology research has been the focus of the study storage vendors . Enterprise data for all users are using a unified data backup strategy is not a good choice , different users for data backup needs are different . Therefore, this project proposes a user-based snapshot technology, ideas , namely the importance of data for business users with different levels of data backup mechanism. Designed and implemented to carry out online hot backup snapshot system . Snapshot System is designed using the principle of incremental backups , snapshots, which depends on the previous snapshot version of the snapshot data is not updated between versions are shared between the snapshot . In the design of each snapshot version uses an incremental manner bitmap snapshot point mark after the arrival of data update , the snapshot data is updated using data redirection achieved with the use of pre-write copy technology, data redirection method does not increase the system's IO loads. Snapshot data mapping maintenance mode using the hash table can be searched in constant time to redirect user requests . Snapshot based on user management system based on user priority assignment snapshot volume , determined by the user's priority level snapshots and snapshot generation time interval volume capacity . Finally, to achieve a snapshot of the system were carried out functional testing and performance testing. Snapshot System has achieved a user to create their own snapshots and snapshot delete snapshot restore function , snapshot function test results showed that the snapshot creation time can reach tens of microseconds. Snapshot of the system performance test results show that taking a snapshot of the system read and write performance and unused snapshots read and write performance compared to decline, when the user requests a snapshot of the data block size is larger than the block size , the snapshot system response time delay than large , different environments and random read and write literacy rate ratio has an impact on the snapshot system .
