Optical fiber communication is a major revolution in the history of human communication since the 1970s, since access to technology breakthroughs , it has rapidly become the main way to communicate the information society , and one submarine -based long-distance optical fiber communication network is the backbone of the system is well-deserved . Transoceanic submarine cable systems are generally laid in the mean sea level 8000 meters deep under the sea bed, its construction , upgrades and maintenance are very difficult, technically difficult and costly , so the system reliability requirements are very high. The industry standard is the system's service life is 25 years while the failure rate in the 2 to 3 times less, how to ensure that reliability is a very important research topic , because the system is optical fiber, optical devices and other components, these discrete element quality of the device is critical to ensure system reliability . In this paper, O's undersea product line as a backdrop, combined with its design and production processes , compared to terrestrial optical device product related requirements set forth for undersea optical network reliability optoelectronic devices quality and reliability management system ; article revolves around how to deliver high reliability of products to meet customer requirements as the main line , study quality management system and method in product design and production application , in practice, summed up some of the innovative quality management methods and techniques ; Meanwhile, the paper also O's product line appears seabed quality issues and share experiences case analysis .
