Abstract


Today, tourism has become one of the world's largest industries . But in the past , tourism is considered merely entertainment, without being considered to be a source of national income , nor considered to be able to measure a country's gross domestic product to increase or decrease the huge industry . But as the process of globalization continue to advance exchanges between countries closer , people want to go to different countries and learn about different cultures , try different foods , listen to different languages ??so that governments recognize these wishes to develop help promote tourism in the development of their economies . The Government of Ecuador realized after a decade to establish a special department of the importance of tourism development , this sector will and an independent department with better development of the country's tourism industry . Today , the government priority to the development of tourism and tourism as a major industry , and the establishment of a strategic plan called \This program started last year , and its goal will be achieved in 2020 . Ecuador National Tourism Department is developing innovative strategies , such as the sustainable development of tourism , tourism and eco- tourism. Ecuador is the world's largest bio- diversity of the countries, and has a very rich ethnic tourism resources, which also contributed to the foreign tourists who want to come here and learn more about the various ethnic groups in Ecuador . While the national Ministry of Tourism and the National Public Affairs Department are working together to improve transport accessibility in remote areas , such as the construction of roads in remote areas , improve service quality, and improving regional sewage treatment local power systems. This study attempts to demonstrate Ecuador tourism industry and tourism sector challenges , will be to promote the development of tourism in Ecuador 's GDP major industries. This article has described some of the programs have been implemented and are implementing plans. Meanwhile, this paper attempts to explore the tourism sector strategies and recommendations in order to create a good tourism environment , and promote the development of tourism .
