Abstract


With the learning society and knowledge economy era comes, adult higher education as an important part of lifelong education system has the responsibility of training more practical talents for the social and economic development. But the existing operation mechanism of adult higher education system can not adapt to the requirements of the socialist market economy. Adult higher education has the problem such as lack of propulsion and vitality, the efficiency is not high, the quality of education is not high. These problems seriously impeded the education function’s display. Therefore, this study based on the perspective of industry, by analyzing the problems of adult higher education and its reasons, trying to explore the adult higher education development strategy under the guidance of industry mechanism.In this study, on the basis of comprehensively analysis the existing research results both at home and abroad, demonstrated the feasibility of adult higher education borrow industry mechanism, and try to put forward the development strategy of adult higher education. The first part of the thesis is the introduction, it presented the topics reason of the thesis, defined the involved basic concepts in the thesis, and combed the education industry, adult higher education industry research results both at home and abroad. The second part analyzed the current problems of adult higher education and its reasons. Adult higher education has the problems of lacking of propulsion and vitality, the efficiency is not high, the quality of education is not high and other issues. The reason is that the education system couldn’t meet the needs of the market economy system, so we should explore new scientific mechanisms to guide the development of adult higher education. This part also clearly demonstrated the possibility of adult higher education borrows industry mechanism based on the analysis of industrial attribute of adult higher education. The third part and the fourth part demonstrated the feasibility of borrowing industry mechanism respectively by elaborate the theoretical brace and enumerate the industry practice of adult higher education at home and abroad. The fourth part based on the industry perspective, drawing on the industrial mechanism puts forward the adult higher education develop strategy:through market mechanisms to enhance the momentum and vitality, take various measures to raise benefit and capital accumulation, focus on improving the quality of education to enhance competitiveness, establish service concepts to meet customer needs.
