Abstract

Wind as a natural phenomenon , itself contains a huge energy , human activities can have a huge impact . These effects include both the positive side , there are also harmful side. People wind observations and research since ancient times, has experienced a very long time. Currently more and more attention around the world for wind parameters of observation and research, measuring wind speed and direction the wind is observed the necessary equipment . Artillery fire , the wind speed and direction will ballistic accuracy have a huge impact . Therefore, it must shoot before the local wind speed and direction at precise measurements to right firing adjusted accordingly . In the artillery positions on the current general adopt a more lightweight simple mechanical anemometers , which although simple to use, but in the measurement error is large , and the resolution is low. In this paper, the above-mentioned shortcomings of simple anemometer , wind measurement in -depth study on the basis of the status quo , considering the advantages and disadvantages of various sensors , we propose a new portable wind measurement program . Which is based on MSP430 microcontrollers and electronic magnetic compass technology, and adopt a variety of lower power consumption and reduce the error measure. Including those based on theoretical assumptions ellipse orientation angle correction , based on Fourier series Luo difference model of eight positional calibration of the magnetic compass , and the use of optimized program flow control and power management and other measures to reduce power consumption . Finally, the results of the use of linear interpolation correction calibration measurements to improve the measurement resolution , and the realization of a more precise measurement of wind speed and direction , in addition to this also designed and hand-held measuring instrument supporting the monitoring terminal and PC software .
