With the rapid development of virtual reality technology and computer network technology , various virtualization landscape modeling become possible in the browser landscape models , query the extended application functionality has incomparable advantages compared with traditional physical model . Virtual campus all intuitively to provide people with a variety of campus has realistic scenes information . Roaming in the virtual campus environment , can feel the realism of field observations . This paper studies the desktop virtualization the system modeling scene , interact , roaming and information inquiries technology . Three-dimensional visualization of geographic information systems IMAGIS V2.3 as a three-dimensional scene modeling tools , combined VRML Virtual Reality Modeling Language JAVA language method the of virtual Xinjiang Normal University campus roaming system have the basic functions of human-computer interaction . Aspects of the major research and explore the following questions: 1 . Monomer model and scene building a virtual three-dimensional integrated campus roaming system is designed to achieve . In this paper, IMAGIS V2.3 3D visual geographic information systems to build three-dimensional virtual campus to explore the scene model database organization , digital terrain model (DEM) to create three-dimensional reconstruction of the entity and management by means of two-dimensional graphics . Discussion of programming interactive and non - programming interactive technology , VRML sensor and anchor - based interaction using Java Script language Script class to modify VRML nodes , VRML Script node and Node class control node , based on scene objects A variety of interactive methods . Using VRML human-computer interaction mechanism , the researchers manipulate virtual entities in the roaming process .
