Abstract

The contribution of non-point source pollution on eutrophication in Taihu Lake Basin is still rising, seriously affect the sustainable development of the basin, and rural sewage is a major source of pollution in the basin various types of non-point source pollution, its governance imminent. The capillary infiltration ditch system has a economic, practical, efficient, convenient, and accurate, very suitable for dispersed sources of pollution in rural areas sewage processing wastewater land treatment technology research hotspot. Rural sewage as the research object, build a the capillary percolation trench and improved capillary percolation ditch system, to study the effect of the removal of the two systems of sewage. The effects of different hydraulic loading conditions, before and after artificial aeration and plant trees, improved capillary percolation ditch of sewage removal of COD, TN, NH3-N and TP. Secondly, through the study of the distribution of soil porosity, permeability and earthworms, the change in the number of earthworms domestic wastewater treatment improved capillary percolation ditch. Finally, a preliminary study of activity improved capillary percolation ditch matrix spatial variation. The main findings are as follows: the capillary percolation ditch stable high removal rate of COD and TP removal of nitrogen is less than ideal, improved capillary percolation trench can increase the effect of the removal of nitrogen. Improved capillary percolation ditch sewage COD, TN, NH3-N and TP removal were 80% to 90%, 60% to 80%, from 85% to 90% and 90% -95%, the water quality above the national level B standard is reached. When influent hydraulic load decreases gradually from 0.1 m3 · m-2 · d-1 to 0.02 m3 · m-2 · d-1 process, improved the capillary percolation ditch COD removal increased to 80% to 90% on hydraulic loading certain impact resistance, but combined with the actual running generally select 0.05 m3 · m-2 · d-1; artificial aeration to promote the transformation of TN and NH3-N removal rate of 60% -80% and 85% to 90%; due to the stability of the filler on phosphorus adsorption, TP removal was maintained at 90% -95%. The results also show that the capillary percolation ditch modified to meet the sewage treatment requirements, is a highly efficient, low power consumption, simple sewage treatment process. The earthworm role in promoting the capillary percolation ditch treatment organics, the earthworms performance of \1.7 ~ 3.4 mg · L-1. In turn, the capillary percolation ditch for earthworm survival breeding provide the appropriate conditions, the obvious change of the number of earthworms in the original soil 5cm earthworm mass reduction of 34% in the 10-15cm of soil, earthworms quality an increase of 10% - 20%. Fully comply with the earthworm Eisenia active area of ??soil under the 10-20cm. The improved capillary percolation trench dehydrogenase, urease and phosphatase activity space changes show that the activity of soil layer three greater than the mixed soil and sand. Urease activity and TN removal rate no obvious positive correlation between urease activity and COD removal efficiency dehydrogenase activity COD and TN phosphatase activity, and TP and COD removal efficiency did not good correlation. The pilot test confirmed the pilot system has a higher pollutant removal ability, and spot checks of the data indicate that the sewage discharged to the GB18918-2002 \Technical and economic comparison data description the capillary percolation ditch technology in the removal of pollutants, especially nitrogen and phosphorus removal effect on running costs and maintenance management have a greater advantage. In some idle land in rural areas, in the lives of the residents of rural retail sewage treatment on the process in terms of technical or economic, are feasible.
