Abstract

Fatigue failure is the most common type of mechanical structure failure modes , according to related statistics, machinery failure 50% to 90 % of the fatigue damage . And steel does not occur until the fatigue evident macroscopic plastic deformation , usually without any obvious signs of breakage case of a sudden , it may cause very heavy accidents. As society and technology development, people 's safety performance requirements for product improvement , product safety has become an important measure of performance indicators . With the formation of the international market , increasing competition , the ability to produce high-performance security products have become decided enterprises can survive and grow in the competition an important factor . This paper reviews the fatigue phenomenon studied history, current situation and development trend of research introduces the most common theory of fatigue phenomena , including the S? N curve , fatigue cumulative damage theory of fatigue crack initiation and propagation , and fatigue life estimation methods commonly used . In this paper, the most common welding beams and welded steel welded box girder force analysis , and the use of virtual analysis software for the prediction of the fatigue failure location , and then using the MTS servo- hydraulic fatigue testing program-controlled loading system of the two welded steel fatigue tests to verify the structural fatigue damage both the location and found weaknesses in the design for the design of steel structures provide some guidance. And with the \
