Abstract

On deck usually refers to the phenomenon when the ship encountered waves, and beyond freeboard to wave acting on the hull, sea water up on deck. Occurs on deck, the water damage to the deck equipment, goods and superstructure. High-speed navigation state, severe water on deck may even lead to the overturning of the ship. Phenomenon of water on deck has been a long time concern of ship and marine engineering field, however, the problem of water on deck is a strongly nonlinear problems is extremely difficult to find solutions for mathematics, the physical phenomenon is very complex, theoretical and numerical research only to describe its pathogenesis has not been given the proper interpretation of water on deck in a certain extent, can not be directly used to solve practical engineering problems. With the rapid development of computer technology, numerical simulation has become an important means of study and solve the problem of water on deck to take full advantage of the existing theoretical and numerical results of the research, combined with the traditional advantage of the the ship hydrodynamic analysis method will The species can be an effective way to solve real engineering problems with broad application prospects. This paper systematically reviewed and summed up on deck the development process and on the basis of the current research progress at home and abroad, the waves on the ship's deck carried out the following work: First, potential flow theory and CFD technology their respective strengths to establish a way to quickly and accurately reproduce the phenomenon of numerical methods on deck. For the practical application of engineering, to establish a computational model of the waves in the local bow deck included in the movement of the entire ship, a three-dimensional numerical simulation of wave phenomena in the the S175 deck of the ship trim conditions at high speeds. The method is based on the Fluent software secondary development and use of the moving mesh methods included in the law of motion of the hull, and reproduction of the flow of water in the deck and shock occurred on deck, the numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental. The grid method uses a small number of high computational efficiency and optimize the design ship further, especially bow linear design provides the foundation. Secondly, based on the above numerical simulation method, no speed and have Speed ??two different state Ministry of bow flare angle change, to discuss the impact of the floating deck bow waves generated. Load, water flow under different conditions on deck, and deck structures are obtained by numerical calculation and analysis of the results shows that effective and convenient features of the research and application of the method on deck. The study results show that this method to the hull deck on wave phenomena analog reproduction, and short computing time to calculate the characteristics of high efficiency, the reality solve practical engineering problems. While the fast and effective analysis and comparison of the factors affecting the ship on deck, and can be widely applied to the study of the waves on the bow deck.
