Of arid and semi-arid regions , water shortages in the status quo , in 2009 , the Mu Us Sandland a common shrub Samut Polygonum scoparium transpiration water consumption characteristics and its impact factors were studied, to as sand vegetation construction a theoretical basis . The cumulative amount of the liquid flow increases as the stem diameter increases . Throughout the growing season from May to October , the water consumption in Samut Polygonum 82.63kg · cm -2 . Scoparium water consumption 68.09kg · cm-2. Compared with the findings of other species , Samut Polygonum scoparium water consumption of significantly smaller , Saudi afforestation can give priority to these two . The main environmental factors impact Samut Polygonum scoparium transpiration solar radiation , air temperature, relative humidity and wind speed , and the establishment of the liquid flow rates and environmental factors , multiple linear regression equation : V Samut Polygonum = 123.711 0.249Re-1.243X2 (R2 = 0.756), V scoparium = 89.079 0.073Re - 0.636RH - 8.588Vw ( R2 = 0.732 ) . The woodland soil moisture vertical distribution can be divided into three layers: the rapid change of the soil moisture layer using layer and the stable layer ; growing season plots changes in soil moisture can be divided into the following phases: in May , September , 10 month weak dehydration stage ; 6-7 months consumption stage ; August recharge stage . Because of the rich precipitation 2009 all plots of soil moisture on the whole has a surplus, which the Samut Polygonum woodlands surplus 12.76mm the spent rods woodland surplus 12.31mm . Growth during the period from May to October the water consumption of Samut Polygonum scoparium stands were 11.33mm , 28.83mm , 35.96mm , 37.78mm , 30.30mrn , 26.51mm and 10.62mm , 21.01 mm , 23.25 mm , 32.73 mm, 25.64mm, 14.37mm.
