Objective : To observe the analysis of the clinical features of acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) , prognostic factors to study the the analysis affect long-term survival . Analysis : APL patients clinical features of 89 cases treated in our hospital from July 2007 to July 2009 , remission induction therapy with all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) combined with sub- arsenate ( ATO ) , post-remission therapy using conventional dose ATO and ( or ) ATRA and DA ( daunorubicin and cytarabine ) , HA ( homoharringtonine alkali cytarabine ) , EA ( etoposide, cytarabine ) the program alternately , the total course continued three years , to understand their complete remission (CR) rate , overall survival (OS) and event-free survival the time ( EFS ) , and by the χ2 test , Log-Rank test and Cox regression model for statistical analysis of the factors that may affect the prognosis of patients analysis . Results: dual induction of remission rate of 91.43% , 80.72% in 83 patients (6 patients were lost to follow ) patients overall survival (OS) , which previously untreated peripheral blood WBC lt ; 10 x 109 / L by OS to 89.40 % , WBC 69.40% of WBC ≥ 10 × 109 / L OS (P lt; 0.05), significant differences in both OS and prognosis . Coagulation abnormalities also affect the prognosis. Conclusion : ATO combined with ATRA treatment of APL good results can be obtained if the initial treatment for patients with de novo leukocyte higher to achieve remission and the scheduled consolidation therapy also possible to obtain long-term survival .
