Objective: To explore information on Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome of hydrocephalus of children, and to provide a TCM of basis for standardization as well as clinical treatment of the disease syndromes.Methods: 1.Retrospective study: Through Xie lu、xintian、hydrocephalus of children literature review analysis, Summarize the traditional in pediatrics hydrocephalus syndromes understanding of regulation and characteristics, By using the data mining technology in pediatrics hydrocephalus of children of TCM the four diagnostic information in-depth analysis, By using the data mining technology in pediatrics hydrocephalus of children of TCM the four diagnostic information deeper analysis, using frequency analysis, factor analysis and clustering analysis to hide in the literature material of syndromes information and collation,mining analysis and summary of extraction.2.Clinical studies mainly through in pediatrics hydrocephalus syndromes in the survey for TCM syndromes of pediatric hydrocephalus scatters the four diagnostic information, Then the SPSS17.0 statistical software again to the clinical data of statistical analysis and data mining, thus summarizes pediatric hydrocephalus of syndromes characteristics and regularity.Results: Aesult of literature analysis, Factor analysis extracted 21 principal factors and 11 syndrome elements were obtained, yang deficiency accounted for 19.3%, insufficiency (kidney) accounted for 17.0%, fluid (retention of fluid ) accounted for 16.5%, and blood stasis accounted for 12.5%, etc. , cluster analysis obtained five categories of results. In clinical analysis through to 120 cases of hydrocephalus patients TCM clinical syndrome analysis tomographic: 78 cases of men, women 42 cases , Age and geometric-harmonic mean value of standard deviation: ( 1.87±1.839). Clustering analysis results: waters rise from yang deficiency , stasis resistance brain qiao , water and stasis mutual knot , congestion brain qiao ,waters rise from deficiency of spleen , stasis resistance brain qiao, fire excess from yin deficiency, stasis resistance brain qiao, deficiency of spleen and kidney ,stasis resistance brain qiao, deficiency of kidney essence , stasis resistance brain qiao, Toxic heat and warm sluggish , stasis resistance brain qiao.
