Abstract

Creative thinking ability is uniquely human ability. Generate creative thinking and existing knowledge are inseparable. So, what kind of knowledge representation is conducive to creative thinking processes produce? In this paper, a prototype based on the theory inspired discussion around this issue. Inspired by the basic content of the prototype theory is that people in solving the problem is usually from the existing system to extract knowledge and experience to match the current issue of the source of knowledge to help solve the current problem of the problem. Prototype knowledge that people in creative problem solving be enlightened awareness events. Prototype knowledge for problem solving provides a way of thinking inspired. When faced with a creative problem solving test, it is able to activate the appropriate prototypes and knowledge to get inspiration from the prototype information has become the key to solve the problem. Inspired prototype theory is considered to have high ecological validity, more in line with real-life characteristics of creative thinking (Jiang Qiu, 2007).
