During the Ming and Qing dynasties, in the border region of Guangxi, due to the existence of multi-ethnic mixing-up pattern and the organizational of the central plains which is different from the Qin and Han dynasties, adding to the influence of social areas factors, it was showed different customs. Work in a family, men and women worked in fields together for long time, even some women went to the market instead of men. Undertaking in multiple roles in the family and society, breaking the traditional social design "male outside women control", women actively participated in affairs out of their families, which made great contribution for individual family and social development. Due to the promotion of virginity from Ming and Qing government and the increasing number of imperial in Guangxi, the number of virgin has increased rapidly. However, compared with Yunnan Province, the speed is slower. Being the important supplement of the local Chronicles, the genealogy shaped the female image, praised and honored female; On the other hand, the willfulness and adamancy of women in Guangxi was also recorded. All the local Chronicles, genealogy and archives provided different aspects for the study of Guangxi women in Ming and Qing dynasties. During this period, Guangxi not only kept the traditional marriage cultures, meanwhile, they took the Han marriage culture. These cultures absorbed each other; mutualed each other, and gradually formed a local marriage pattern.
