Abstract

China's primary English courses required from 2001 gradually opened gradually by the close attention from the primary school English. Primary and secondary schools is the two stages of the same strain of basic education, independent of each other and interrelated. However, for a long time between the primary and secondary schools there is a serious disconnect between their own array of phenomena, a serious impact on the development of English education. Primary and secondary convergence problems to be solved. To this end, the research of constructivist theory, Cognitive Development Theory and the zone of proximal development theory based on the context of primary and secondary schools in Cangzhou City Qingxian, through questionnaires, interviews, literature research in the area of ??six primary school English bridging the status of the investigation. The survey mainly from four aspects of primary and secondary school textbooks, curriculum goals, teaching methods and teaching evaluation commenced. The study found that the primary and secondary schools English is indeed the problem of convergence is mainly reflected in the following aspects: First, the primary and secondary school English textbooks convergence ineffective. Teaching materials from the knowledge capacity and knowledge more difficult span is too large, the teaching material structure has also undergone great changes. Second, primary and secondary school English curriculum standards convergence is good, but the implementation is poor. Many students failed to meet the secondary standard in terms of language skills, language knowledge, learning strategies. Third, the convergence ineffective way of English teaching in primary and secondary schools. Junior high school English teachers and primary school teachers in the teaching methods are very different, and difficult to adapt to the new form which makes just the end of primary school life. Fourth, the primary and secondary school English teaching evaluation convergence ineffective. Primary and secondary English teaching evaluation form presented in the evaluation of the main body, the frequency of examinations, the examination form, exam results have changed greatly. These problems are different degrees of impact on the quality of teaching and learning outcomes. The above problems are mainly caused by the following two reasons: First, the primary English not being taken seriously.
