Abstract


Projection is a very complicated language phenomena , it is not a direct representation of the ( non-verbal ) experience , but a representation of (language ) statements . The purpose of this paper is to study the situation and characteristics of the maritime accident report statement portion of the projected use , as well as how these projection is the language of the three functions . Through observation, I found that the fact that some of the major maritime accident report statements described after accident at sea , projection phenomenon in this part of the more obvious , and therefore the facts stated in part excerpt from the entire maritime accident report as the research corpus . Maritime incidents have been reported this style is more formal and frequent use of long sentences , Therefore, this small clause complex level study projected .
