Abstract


In recent years, the global governmental organizations' dissertation">non-governmental organizations flourish.In the democracy and pluralistic society, the NGO has played an increasingly important role. As China gradually changing from a planned economy to market economy, a large number of non-governmental organizations came into being. According to official figures by the end of 2009, the country has developed various types of non-governmental organizations to 425 thousand. In political, economic, social, science and technology domains, the non-governmental organizations play an active role and become an important force in social development.Meanwhile, in the process of transforming government functions, people’s demand in the social life is also increasing, but the government can not provide all public goods, which demand the non-governmental organizations involve in, to shoulder part of the supply of public goods. The relationship between the non-governmental organizations and government is experiencing the new change. Therefore, In order to promote the Non-governmental organizations healthy development, exploring its relationship with the government, and achieving a reasonable interaction are particularly important.In this paper, I use qualitative research methods to made a more in-depth analysis about the relationship between non-governmental organizations in Shanghai and the government. Text is divided into five parts:The first part includes background, purpose and significance. The second part is elaboration about the literature. The third part are the research method and research design, including research methods, research procedures, research tools, study and research process. The fourth part is data analysis. The last part are the conclusions and recommendations, including the conclusion, the proposal for the government and the non-governmental organizations and recommendations for future research.
