Abstract


IT is generated from all areas of society had a significant impact in all areas of active use of information technology to achieve their own ends, the field of education is no exception. Technology in Education from the original as a tool to support teaching multimedia teaching to the current course management platform, thanks to technological progress, learning to play a more important role in the development of the theory in which, especially in the 1990s accompanied by constructivism and the rise of learner-centered teaching and learning. Course management platform technology and theory developed to a certain stage, it began to develop from the 1990s and gradually moved into a university teaching, it can help break through time and space constraints of traditional classroom teaching and and extends learning network, enrich the connotation of learning and to promote changes in the way students learn. Course management platform in foreign universities has been widely used and achieved good results in the country, it was previously mainly used in the university's School of Network Education, to meet the needs of distance learning, gradually emerging with the drawbacks of traditional classroom teaching, in order to meet the growing teaching needs, course management platform is gradually moved into the college classroom teaching. About the course management platform research focuses on technology development and application, very little research in university teaching the practical effect. In this study, the case study method, select the Blackboard course management platform (hereinafter referred to as the BB platform) in foreign universities to use more the X University since 2005 the introduction of the BB platform, has more than 20,000 users, developed on the platform thousand course, has accumulated some experience in the use of the BB platform. This paper introduces the information technology in the teaching process, the rise of the course management platform, the function module and its penetration in university teaching, so as to form the overall understanding of the course management platform, followed by questionnaire and interview methods, X universities use course management platform, students conducted a questionnaire survey as well as varying degrees of interviews the teaching explicitly use the BB platform to break through the constraints of time and promote the transformation of the mode of student learning, and summarizes the factors that affect the results, recommendations on the raised platform in the future to clear schools, teachers, students how to make better use of technology to promote learning to change the way.
