Abstract


Early childhood English textbooks as an important carrier of the teaching and learning activities, the quality of the pros and cons of a direct impact on the effectiveness of early childhood learning English, suitable for young children age and physical and mental development of the characteristics of materials can lay a solid foundation for its follow-up learning English. As far as I understand, the child English textbook market of unprecedented prosperity, the type of variety, price from tens of dollars to several hundred dollars, and even appeared in a few thousand or even million of astronomical textbooks, but because The particularity of early childhood English education has been the selection of English textbooks for young children and subscriptions did not make a unified, nor published national unity, specified by the Ministry of Education's early childhood English textbooks. Which version of the textbook is relatively more scientific and rational, more suitable as an early childhood learning English, the authorities also no unified conclusion. The quality of child English textbooks is a key factor in restricting the success of early childhood English education activities. This paper aims to meticulous, multi-angle analysis and comparison of the three sets of young children English textbook and discussion, and thus help to arouse young children English and increased attention to the quality of early childhood English textbooks in the education sector, but also help textbook writers to write more suitable for young children to learn the use of teaching materials, and more conducive to the relevant departments to strengthen supervision of the quality of English teaching materials for young children. This study selected three sets of young children English textbook for the study, namely the Cambridge International Children's English \The developed countries were the United Kingdom (English as a first language), German (English as a Second Language) and China (English as a foreign language). Author, respectively, of the surface structure (cover, directories, open edition, illustrations, theme, content diversity statement types, teaching resources, back cover) and deep structure (the philosophy of education, educational goals, teaching methods) of the three sets of child English textbooks do Comparative results are presented and related analysis and discussion. The outside to the inside of the comparison of the three sets of different developed countries and young children English textbooks and summarized textbooks have some similarities and differences, and three sets of young children English textbooks show the same point and point to do the analysis and discussion, and put forward some suggestions based on young children English textbook writers, users, and teaching materials related to the introduction of the review and development department. The high-quality early childhood English teaching materials is an important guarantee for the effective implementation of the child English teaching activities, relevant departments should further increase the review and supervision of the child English textbooks from the fundamental solution of infants English textbook market disorder and textbooks subscriptions fragmented , to maximize the educational function of the child English textbooks, better service to the children's English learning.
