Abstract


With the achievements of Chinese athletes in the world competition, Chinese sport TV channels also have sprung up, and sport programs are proceeding to specialization and diversification. Sport events programs are the leader in TV sport programs, which are the most audiences’ favorite, especially in live matches. General sport events programs’ signal packaging, large sport events programs’ studio packaging, highlights and sport events replay programs constitute the basic genre of sport events programs. Under the both stability of sport events resources and the audience viewing share, this situation of sport events program genre will not change a lot. It shows that the current sport events program genre is reasonable and adapt to Chinese sports TV development requirements. And the genre is unstable, it will change with the change of Chinese sports and television environments.In the current academic circle, researches of sport events program genre are less. Started with the concept of sport events’ TV program genre, this essay has analyzed the content of sport events broadcasting on the basic form and ways. First, a brief analysis to the upper reaches to "World Feed Production Standards" is produced. "World Feed Production Standards" pack the sport events directly, which the core concept is "Fair and Equal", "norm and strict", "competition and passion". Then, combined with model cases, the essay emphasizes on how to pack general sport events and large sport events typically in the depth of the specific characteristics. Then, highlights and events replay programs are mentioned as supplement of sport events program genre. Finally, sorting out the relationship between them, come to sport events program genre’s general rules in Chinese sport TV.Based on the CCTV sport channel (CCTV-5) in the leading position, the essay chooses CCTV-5 as the main object of study in the sport events programs. In China, most of the sport channels possess little sport events resources compared with CCTV-5. Despite the presence of CSPN, the sport channels should do more to advance sport events program’s quality when all the sport channels have the same resources. At the same time, it will reduce production costs, improve resource utilization ratio to create a good highlights and replay. And we can not neglect the importance of technology, the sport channels should always keep up with international TV production standard and attach more energy to innovation on TV media program genre.
