Abstract


The author, based on knowledge of learning dating & marriage website as the study object, take our rapidly growing dating websites Century Fine Destiny (Shi Ji Jia Yuan) as example, explore the development background and present situation of dating & Marriage website from communication, journalism, economics, sociology, psychology; dating website members’ online dating behavior; existing dating websites problems and its solutions.First, do a systematic combing for the development status of dating websites, to help people fully understand the background of the dating websites development, development process, development status.Second, combine relevant communication theory to examine the members’ communication characteristics in Marriage website which particular in website dating behavior, point out dating web is not only the traditional dating websites extension methods and regression in the online world love, but also open a new Marriage communication era. Specific as follow:first, in the dating process the members get identity of the main cognitive certainty, and its role in building comes from the basic nature of life and reality to maintain the consistency, and must also rely on interaction with others, because of this, dating sites allow "strangers" become reliable; second, the love marriage website is not same as in the traditional sense "weak practical utility, nada" or "courtship", dating websites just to be the way of knowing members and preliminary understanding channel tools, members are ultimately shift the "online" relationship into the "offline" to expand the love relationship, and with very "utilitarian" color in dating process, which also brought a series of adverse social impacts.Third, the author analyze a series problems of current dating websites, pointed out that this is the "complicity" results of network, social and social actors; discuss the competitive landscape between dating websites, difficulties and bottlenecks faced by them, then summarize that in order to get long-term development, the dating & marriage website not only need the joint efforts from website, social and Internet users, but also the dating & marriage website must put much emphasis on self-business model (including the user operations and commercial operations) and marketing strategy.
