Abstract


Television production and development of the Science Channel , both the implementation of the national strategy of \As a short history of the development is not very mature in all aspects of television specialty channels , requires a certain amount of theory as a guideline . The author had access to the relevant literature , not many of the domestic and international research on the Science Channel , no scholar systematic study on the Science Channel, from the point of view of the media ecology . This is also the value and significance of the research in this article . China 's media ecology media as the center of the media to their survival and development of environmental issues . This article take this research ideas , media ecology, environmental analysis on China's science and education channel from the six aspects of the political environment , economic environment , cultural environment , technology , the environment , the audience Environment and advertising resources and environment . The first four areas constitute the external ecological environment for the survival and development of science and education channel , will constrain or promote the survival and development of the channel . The latter two aspects constitute the basic survival factor in the Science Channel ecological environment . Science Channel should clear its own target audience , and strive to cultivate the audience market, the potential audience into the reality of the audience . Advertising revenue is the most important source of income of the Science Channel . The face of competitive advertising market , the Science Channel weaknesses, play to their strengths , and strive for greater economic efficiency . As a new member of a large family of TV channels , Science Channel imbalance risks facing media environment in the development process : Science Channel marginalized unbalanced development between regions , show structural imbalance ; channels funding , lack of human resources , resources interrupt the food chain ; niche overlap , show serious homogeneity ; public TV and Business TV contradictions .
