Abstract

Wireless sensor networks (wireless sensor network, WSN) is an emerging technology , its application prospect is very extensive, mainly used in military , environmental monitoring, health care , smart home , urban transport, warehouse management. Small size of the sensor nodes , the energy to carry very limited and difficult to add , so that the wireless sensor is essential for energy resources. How to minimize the energy consumption of the transmission network is an urgent problem . The main research work is as follows : ( 1 ) analysis of Chen et al 's proposal , noting that it studied only a single query processing network situation, the similarity between multiple queries did not do consider . But , in fact, with the increase of users , the base station will inevitably exist multiple queries , and these queries are often hot spots while collecting data , which resulted in data redundancy between queries . For more query data redundancy exists between this problem , this paper proposes a multi- query similarity based on energy optimization program, which use multi- query processing functions and the average shortest path [s] effective treatment methods between query redundant data , reducing the amount of data transmission in the network , to achieve maximum utilization of energy . ( 2 ) in the windows operating system designed in this paper using vc program for simulation , experimental results show that there are multiple queries simultaneously in the base station , the use of this program similar to the query processing energy consumption than similar treatment without energy consumption much smaller, more conducive to prolong the lifetime of wireless sensor networks .
