Abstract


In this thesis, the main PCNN image segmentation algorithm based on Nios Ⅱ soft core SOPC system to achieve development, PCNN image segmentation using minimum cross entropy and the OTSU combination of the best times improved criterion . The developed image segmentation system can quickly complete the segmentation task , achieve better segmentation results . Compared to existing CMOS hardware implementation technology consumes fewer resources and shorter development cycle advantages . The entire image segmentation system based on SOPC Nios Ⅱ soft core contains the following sections : 1 on PCNN image segmentation module core is based on the implementation of PCNN image segmentation algorithm based on the Nios Ⅱ . The combined the OTSU algorithm of initial threshold selection criterion of minimum cross entropy of the binary image as the best division cycles , to achieve automatic image segmentation , to get a better segmentation results . 2 data receiving module using Ethernet transmission, the transmission of the image data acquired by the remote . Nios Ⅱ soft -core processors integrated the DM9000A chip as the core , μCOS-Ⅱ operating system to complete the task management and scheduling . This can receive different hosts to be sent over the segmented image data . 3. Divided image data storage modules to be divided image data , and to achieve the best segmentation of the binary data stored in the SD card , the split start directly the image data in the SD card reads PCNN image segmentation module for processing ; split after the best segmentation results can be stored in the SD card . It takes full advantage of the cheap SD card good advantage as well as compatibility with a variety of platforms . 4 image display module This module is divided into two parts of VGA Display LCD and TFT-LCD display . Split prior to the original image and split binary image display in TFT-LCD LCD , VGA display , respectively , to facilitate the segmentation results contrast . Altera DE2-70 development board extensions designed TFT-LCD LCD driver scan mode initialization ; status register initialization ; reading , writing children part of the port control , etc. .
