Abstract


ZigBee is one wireless technology that transmitting data at short range and creating for the purpose of industrial automation, agricultural automation, home automation, remote control and remote measurement. ZigBee has the advantage that the cost of one node is cheap, high reliability and high flexibility., so it is applicable to the programs which need lots of nodes, transmitting small bits of information or power consuming is smallBy the method of analyzing the ZigBee-stack’s structure., the way that ZigBee exchange information between different levels and the OSAL system’s working principle,this thesis add application tasks to the ZigBee-stack’s API interface; By researching the Process that ZigBee forming the mesh network, this thesis explained how to form the mesh network; By connect sensors to the nodes, this thesis formed.the wireless sensor network and preliminarily debugged the wireless sensor network.The wireless network measure the temperature, humidity, smoke concentration, infrared signal, magnetic signal by the nodes that spread through a certain area while the sensors are connected to the nodes. Then the network will transmit the information to the coordinator that connected to the computer. The software will show the data so as to monitor different parameters in the intelligent building.The software is programmed using VB, it can show the data,send and receive the data through serial port, save the data to the computer, and read it whenever you need.
