Abstract


In arid and semi-arid areas, area accounts for only about 5% of the oasis is concentrated more than 90% of the population, oasis, desertification development and ecological environment and human society closely. Cultivated oasis as arid and semi-arid special landscape is not only the basis for human survival and development, and has an important ecological role. But with the development of human society, and some reclamation oasis already desertification, sustainable use since some were also some experienced repeatedly abandoned and development. Only clarified the historical process of change during the cultivation oasis to oasis for the modern development and protection to provide references. Therefore, how to accurately reconstruct historical periods reclamation oasis, access to its distribution location, extent and area to be placed in front of people is an important topic. This paper summarizes previous oasis on the concept of formation conditions and evolution of research based on the analysis of the characteristics of the cultivation oasis, oasis according to reconstruct historical periods reclamation objectives and requirements, demonstrate a system based on historical geography, history, philology , archaeological and geographical information science reconstruction method that historical period reclamation oasis reconstruction process is closely linked to a multidisciplinary approach and flexible use of the process. Specifically, is the historical documents, archaeological data, remote sensing image, field trips and a variety of map data and other achievements as a basic source of information, to ensure the consistency of different information layers have space under the premise of the geographic information system platform for different different spatial and temporal scales, and integrate data, enabling spatial and temporal distribution oasis historical periods reclamation overall judgment process.
