Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) are toxic properties, resist degradation , bioaccumulation and other characteristics, and remote transmission , long-term accumulation in the ecosystem , they will persist in the environment for human survival and sustainable development, reproduction major threat . In this paper, the distribution of pollutants in Taihu Lake Basin complex situation, a representative selected persistent organic pollutants polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) as the research object , respectively, in 2010 5 May and September 2010 two whole Taihu Lake collected 41 overlying water , pore water , sediment samples . Analysis of environmental media Taihu Sediments in particular, concentration levels and distribution , to explore its possible sources for the development of appropriate preventive measures and treatment methods available determine the basis of contaminants in sediments from Taihu Lake and its surrounding ecosystems potential environmental impacts of a comprehensive evaluation for the people of the Taihu Lake region to provide a scientific basis for ecological safety . This article uses gas chromatography mass spectrometry to detect the content of PAHs and OCPs , using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry to detect levels of PFCs . Main conclusions are as follows . One , two samples measured detectable concentrations of PAHs in sediments , according to characteristic ratios derived Taihu Lake is the main source of PAHs mixed source , that source and pyrolysis and combustion of petroleum origin . Taihu Lake region PAHs ecological risk assessment , drawn naphthalene (NaP), acenaphthene (Ace), fluorene (Flu) and phenanthrene (Phe) in Taihu Lake aquatic ecological risk probability is 10% -50 %, and other PAHs monomer ecological risk is very small. Second, for OCPs2010 May and September 2010 two sampling results analysis found that OCPs detected overlying water concentration increased, while the gap in water and sediment concentrations detected OCPs than May detectable concentration decreased. This may be the ambient temperature , temperature conducive to the release of contaminants from the sediment . Third , PFCs in May 2010 and September 2010 the two results showed that in September 2010 the overlying water and sediment concentrations of target pollutants were less than in May 2010 detected concentrations may be associated with pollution emissions control relevant .
