Abstract

Fluoride is a trace element needed by the body , but long-term excessive drinking fluoridated water detrimental to human health . With fluoride products in industrial applications more widely, China's annual wastewater containing fluoride emissions are growing . China provides optimum fluoride in drinking water content of 0.5 1 sup> .0 mg / L, industrial wastewater inorganic compounds of fluorine emission maximum allowable concentration of 10mg / L. Therefore, the technology of industrial wastewater and water fluoride fluorine content control has been a domestic environmental protection and the health sector an important issue. In this paper, a low concentration simulated wastewater containing fluoride , using bone char as an adsorbent , removal of fluoride ions , and the use of aluminum sulfate modified on bone charcoal , the main contents are as follows: ( 1 ) low- carbon adsorption with bone fluoride concentrations of industrial wastewater effluent can less than the national two emission standards. When the F- initial concentration of 20mg / L, at a temperature of 20 ℃, pH value of 6 , the adsorption reaction time of 60 minutes , under the conditions of the solid-liquid ratio was 0.06 , the adsorption capacity for 2.93mg / g, fluoride ion removal up to 88%. When using a 3% NaOH solution was regenerated with 4% of H 2 SO 4 solution to adjust the pH to neutral , the first bone char after regeneration is a saturated adsorption amount adsorption capacity of 94% , proved bone char is an efficient, stable fluoride removal agent . ( 2 ) It was also studied the water impurity ions on the adsorption capacity of bone char , studies show that CO 3 2 - sup>, HCO 3 - sup> ions there will reduce the adsorption capacity of the bone char . Fe 3 sup>, Mg 2 sup> The presence of fluoride bone char has some role in promoting. The mechanism of fluoride on bone charcoal analysis showed that bone charcoal adsorption behavior of both the presence of fluoride ion ion exchange adsorption also exist . ( 3 ) with 5% of Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 solution on the bone char was modified , the results showed that: modified bone char initial concentration of fluoride ions is less than 10mg / L of simulated wastewater removal rate higher than the previous unmodified . To make an initial concentration of F- 10mg / L of simulated wastewater with 92.2 % and the effluent concentration is less than 1.0mg / L, to meet drinking water standards.
