The nail complex has excitation state reactivity, long life, good thermodynamic stability, information-rich photophysical and luminescent properties and other characteristics, is a metal-organic chemistry research hotspots content, but also one of the key topics of optoelectronic functional materials research. Major functional materials based on ruthenium complexes cis-disulfide cyanide - bis (4,4 - Acid and 2,2 '- bipyridine) ruthenium (N3) and four at the base ammonium salt (N719) dye Applied Research in sensitized solar cells are the most prominent. This thesis through the synthetic route optimization prepared N3 and inferior to that of the N719, the establishment of the N3 and N719 separation and purification methods and purity testing standards; designed on this basis, to N3 as antenna groups to sensitized transition metal and rare earth metals near-infrared light-emitting prepared novel heteronuclear metal salts, and test the spectral performance. Of this thesis is divided into the following two aspects: 1, 4 - methylpyridine in palladium-catalyzed self-coupling to give 4,4 '- dimethyl 2,2' - bipyridine, further use of dichromate potassium oxide to obtain 4,4 '- dicarboxylate -2,2' - bipyridine, and ruthenium trichloride by a substitution reaction in dimethylacetamide after complexing with potassium thiocyanate synthesized N3 is, and N3 tetrabutyl ammonium hydroxide can be synthesized N719. N3 and N719 of the total reaction yield was 25% and 20%, respectively. By nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared absorption spectroscopy were used to characterize the structure of the N3 and N719. Establishing a LH-20 dextran gel as the stationary phase and methanol as mobile phase column chromatography purification methods and means by HPLC N3 and N719 purity of analytical standards, the specific use Inersil Ph-3 Liquid Chromatography column, the choice of methanol / water / acetic acid (40/60/0.4) as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1 mL / min. UV - visible absorption and fluorescence emission spectra: N719 UV absorption spectra and fluorescence emission spectrum relative to the N3 blue shift. 2, designed and synthesized N3 of the series of the metal salt of N3-M (M for: Zn, Mg, Co, Mn, Nd, Ce), the design idea is: N3 on the pyridine ring has four carboxylic acid, the acid due to conjugate action is stronger than the acidity of acetic acid, the target product can be obtained through N3 and metal acetate salt. Product by infrared absorption spectral characterization learned carboxylic acid absorption peaks move to lower wavenumber the generated metal salts of carboxylic acids. N3 metal salts spectral performance by UV-visible absorption and fluorescence emission spectroscopy. Solid fluorescence spectral data indicate that the N3-Zn, N3-Mg, and N3-Co, and N3-Mn-emission maximum wavelength (λmax) is 760 nm, 760 nm, 763 nm and 800 nm, and the rare earth metal salt of N3-Nd and N3 -Ce near-infrared emission at 944 nm, 1069 nm and 935 nm, 1082 nm. Thus: rare earth metal salt of N3 (N3-Nd and N3-Ce), N3 sensitizing effect, showing that the material in the near infrared (780-3000 nm) light-emitting electroluminescent material can be used in the near infrared, important applications in the field of biological imaging, optical fiber communication.
