Abstract

Friction and wear great loss on the part surface, mechanical parts failure mainly because of friction machine parts and lead to a loss. Tribology theory in the preparation of the substrate surface layer of solid lubricating coatings and solid lubricant coating shear stress is relatively low, the coating layer can significantly reduce the wear of the friction pair, improve service life. The ideal surface coating should be both high hardness but also achieve low friction. In this paper, supersonic plasma spraying technology in the GCr15 substrate surface preparation KF-301 La 2 O 3 the WS 2 composite coating. High temperature the MM-U5G screen material end friction wear tester analysis of the tribological properties of the composite coatings. With XL30W/TMP scanning electron microscope study coating wear around the surface morphology. EDAX energy dispersive analysis of the chemical composition before and after the coating surface wear, and coating wear mechanism was discussed. The results show that: (1) WS 2 content has a great impact on coating performance. With WS 2 content increases, the hardness of the coating decreased: (2) the wear rate of the coating with the WS 2 content changes appeared larger fluctuations in the WS 2 content reaches a minimum at 35%, for of 1.22 × -4 mg / m; (3) the rate of friction of the coating with the ambient temperature The increases. At 300 ℃, the wear rate of 1.02 × 109 -4 mg / m; 750 ℃, the wear rate of 2.61 × 10-4 mg / m. As the temperature increases, the coefficient of friction of the coating showed a gradual increase in variation, when the temperature is below 600 ° C, the friction coefficient is maintained at about 0.08; at 750 ℃, the coefficient of friction of 0.12. Microstructure analysis of the surface: (1) lubrication phase WS 2 content, lubricating film can not fully spread, coating layered shedding, the wear mechanism is abrasive wear and fatigue wear. Content is too high, play a supporting role in the relative reduction of Ni, the coating prone to adhesive wear; (2) during the experiment, with the temperature gradually increased, the contact surface not only by the friction pair of the contact stress, is also subjected to thermal stress role, leading to the WS 2 solid lubricating film cracking to damage development, moving away from the substrate surface occurs detachment. Self-lubricating composite coating occurs under the influence of the frictional heat the softening deformation, resulting in the decline in strength and abrasion resistance. (3) coating and the substrate is linked closely together, the continuous lubrication lubricating film role. Dual surface in the process of grinding in the formation of metastatic lubricating film, reducing wear. (4) KF-301 La 2 O 3 WS 2 composite coating wear failure is fatigue wear, abrasive wear and adhesive wear .
