Abstract


The purpose of this study, through the analysis of orthodontic treatment in patients pantomography tablets canine crown root ratio changes , study orthodontic treatment process , Canine move root resorption , analysis of the canine root resorption , as orthodontic treatment options provide a reference . How to avoid and orthodontic treatment or provide a basis to reduce root resorption . Methods 2006-2010 Orthodontics, Affiliated Stomatological Hospital, Chongqing Medical MBT straight wire appliance therapy in 30 patients ( aged 12-14 years ) . A total of 114 cases of canine samples . The experiment was divided into three groups : the experimental group , the uprooting of the first premolar ; experimental group 2 , the removal of the second premolar ; control group , non-extraction . Measurements before and after treatment pantomography tablets canine crown root ratio , comparing the canine crown root ratio change differences , to understand the root resorption ; compare each group on the mandibular canine crown-root ratio differences . Results (1) experimental group 1 , canine crown and root orthodontic treatment than increase 0.026 ± 0.013 , change was not statistically significant (p = 0.196). ( 2) experimental group 2 , orthodontic treatment canine crown and root ratio decreases 0.011 ± 0.091 , change was not statistically significant (p = 0.703). ( 3) control group , orthodontic treatment after canine crown root ratio decreases 0.046 ± 0.122 , changes are statistically significant ( p = 0.002 ) . (4 ) before and after orthodontic treatment , the experimental group 1 canine crown root canine crown root than changes in the control group than to change the difference was statistically significant ( p = 0.005 ) . Before and after (5 ) orthodontic treatment , the experimental group 2 canine crown root canine crown root than changes in the control group than to change the difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.391). ( 6) before and after orthodontic treatment , each group on the mandibular canine crown root ratio change differences not statistically significant conclusions (1 ) long-distance movement of canines canine root resorption . (2) orthodontic treatment , under the same conditions , no significant difference on the mandibular canine root absorption .
