ObjectiveTo observe and probe into clinical curative effect about the treatment ofⅢChronic prostatitis(Shirexieyu Syndrome) by Qianlietongyu Capsule together with Shenitong Tablet.Methods40 outpatients with Chronie prostatitis(Shirexieyu Syndrome) were divided randomly into two equal groups. The controled group was given Shenitong Tablet, two Tablets one time, once a day for 4 weeks.The treatment group was given Qianlietongyu Capsule together with Shenitong Tablet, five Qianlietongyu Capsules one time, three times a day for 4 weeks after mills, and one Shenitong Tablet one time, twice a day for 4 weeks. After two weeks of the end of their 4 weeks treatment, to observe and appraise the changes of the all two groups outpatients about the score of TCM symptoms, the score of Pain, voiding symptoms, the quality of life and the total score of NIH-CPSI.ResultAfter 4 weeks treatment, the score of TCM symptoms, the score of Pain, voiding symptoms, the quality of life and the total score of NIH-CPSI had dropped significantly in both groups compared with pre-treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01). And compared with the group only with Shenitong Tablet,the score of TCM symptoms, the score of Pain, voiding symptoms, the quality of life and the total score of NIH-CPSI were shown to be signifieantly different(P<0.05 or P<0.01) in the group of with Qianlietongyu Capsule together with Shenitong Tablet.ConclusionQianlietongyu Capsule together with Shenitong Tablet is highly effective for typeⅢProstatitis, by ameliorating TCM symptoms, relieving Pain and voiding symptoms, and improving the life quality of thePatients. And it has favourable researeh perspective.
