Abstract

The issue of economic development is an important area of ??study of economics, economic behavior is embedded in social behavior, purely from economics to understand the economic behavior of human beings is very narrow. Therefore, the study of the problems of economic development that takes into consideration the social factors. Social capital is generally a social resource exists in the social network relationships and can be actors investment and utilization in order to achieve their own goals, it is the most influential theory of the 1970s evolved out of the new economic sociology one of the concepts. Study the social network theory of social capital, the role of social norms, trust and reciprocity, and interpersonal relationships built on these foundations the impact on economic activity, and the introduction of social capital theory to the study of the economic problems, will bring more effectiveness and innovation. In recent years, scholars around the world have been gradually social capital theory model used to explain the problems of social development and economic growth. Comprehensive view summarized existing literature to draw economic development is not only the result of the selection and combination of human, financial, material, information, technology, in-depth study of the social and physical capital, human capital, interactive sports process. Our minority neighborhoods China's western region, in recent years, the economy has a better development of ethnic minority areas, but not prominent and theoretical results for the effectiveness of the reality of the economic development of the western minority areas. At present, the \If you do not speed up the economic development of ethnic minority areas in the western region, the economic gap between the eastern and western regions of China will continue to widen, this will not only lead to the western region's long-term poverty, but also fundamentally affect the economic development of our country. The county economy is the basis of our national economy level, is an important part of China's macro-economic system, its level of development, and to some extent determines the basic pattern and the face of China's economic and social development. Western minority areas of county economic development lies not only in how much of the physical capital, lies in the role played by modern social capital. Therefore, we should actively cultivate modern western minority areas of social capital, to accelerate the economic development of ethnic minority areas. In this study, from the perspective of sociology, economics, starting to sort out the basis of the existing literature, a preliminary understanding of the county economic development of China's western minority areas, a careful analysis of existing research. Selection of a specific region, that is located in the western region of Sichuan Province, Leibo County, Liangshan Prefecture, collected economic development situation in Leibo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, the use of the status quo, and social network structure of social capital, fieldwork method in China's western minority social capital structure and the use of the current situation of the ethnic minority areas to explore. Combined findings test research hypotheses to explore analysis to promote social capital in the development of the county economy, and to make recommendations for the effective use of the social capital of China's western minority areas and nurturing. Minority areas in order to make the understanding of the deposit as well as the role of social capital, which actively choose the way best suited to local foster social capital, the more powerful social resources, promote local economic development. The findings and conclusions of this study are: (1) internal trust with the outside world of western minority areas was low local trust. In ethnic minority areas, the lower the level of trust between the different ethnic groups of the county, and the local residents of the county not trust foreign investors, foreign investors' trust in the economic development of ethnic minority areas, as well as local residents are also low. (2) western minority areas widespread in the blood, on the basis of geographical, moral norms of reciprocity, the lack of economic development needs of contractual norms of reciprocity, the lower the level of cooperation with the more economically developed counties. (3) in the western minority areas in China, most of the structure of social networks based on kinship, geopolitical vertical columnar structure of the network as a link between the various counties, often lack the contact interaction between different economic entities, horizontal linkages, opportunities and platform, the lack of a social network of the horizontal type. (4) a wide range of social networks help to reduce transaction costs, promote mutual trust and cooperation between the various counties of the western minority areas. Social networks are self-reinforcing and accumulation of a successful cooperation will establish contact and trust between these social capital is conducive to the various counties and cities to be completed in the future cooperation in other related tasks. (5) a wide range of social networks conducive to joint economic development in the counties of western minority areas so as to promote the formation of industrial clusters. The industry cluster is an effective way to improve the competitiveness of the region, while a wide range of social networks can enhance the overall innovation capability of the entire ethnic minority areas, to promote long-term economic development of each county in fundamental. (6) a wide range of social networks help to promote labor mobility, so as to solve the western minority areas too much idle labor phenomenon. (7) The ethnic minority areas in the county's economic development, plays a decisive role in county government and other government agencies to attract foreign investors, the government use of social capital and other more developed counties or business cooperation, so as to promote economic development. However, various non-governmental organizations also play in the county's economic development organization, coordination, and management functions. Foster social capital, an important task is to strengthen the role of chambers of commerce, trade associations and other civil society organizations. These the CSOs system is connected to the network of social capital, their characterization of the development of social capital development.
