Abstract

Since reform and opening, Jilin Province has made considerable economic and social progress, undertakings have made great progress, but compared with the southeast coastal provinces, not the total economy, the relatively slow development of Jilin Province is still the basic situation in the province. In the Northeast region, the provinces were combined with their own situation because he proposed autonomous development plan, for a variety of policy resources tilt, Jilin Province, facing the coexistence of cooperation and competition. Faced with this situation, Jilin Province should actively expand the development of ideas, Tumen River development as an opportunity to integrate national implementation of the revitalization of northeast old industrial base in the strategic breakthrough by various unfavorable factors, give full play to advantages, to achieve regional economic and social development by leaps and bounds. Tumen River Area Development Programme has been proposed since the 1990s, by the Northeast Asian countries for their support and concern, and have achieved some success, but because there are still a series of internal and external factors restricting the development, therefore, developmental delay , progress has been limited. Contents of this thesis is divided into five parts: The first part is an introduction part paper, this paper introduces the background of writing, research content, the study's purpose and methods. In the second part, focusing on the development of the Tumen River Area Comprehensive background. In the third part of this thesis on the basis of the use of public management in the SWOT analysis method, the Tumen River Area Development strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, risks and threats comparison, the basic conclusions drawn Tumen River Area Development for papers The fourth section determines the strategic positioning of the Tumen River Area Development and mode selection provided.
