Abstract
|
Reactive compensation is the basic requirement of power supply system operation. In order to keeping the reactive power balance of the power supply system, it is necessary to making the reactive compensation. The paper talks about the reality, analyses the necessary of reactive compensation, and briefly introduces the research status of reactive compensation technology at home and abroad. And some methods and fundamental principles of reactive compensation are discussed too. In view of requirement of civil electric power market, and taking requirement of the rapid reaction and accuracy of reactive compensation into consideration, the paper designed two new low voltage intelligent reactive power compensation controllers. One is ARM based SVC controller, the other is DSP based SVC controller. Both controllers can make signal acquisition and calculate automatically, reactive power compensation, failure warning, data storage and information displaying on LCD. The controller can communication with computer and more history data could be stored for further analysis. But they are different in design ideas.Design emphasis of ARM based controller is to reduce the costing and complexity. With the fast speed of processing and pipeline architecture, The LPC2220 microcontrollers are based on a 16/32 bit ARM7TDMI-S CPU with real-time emulation and embedded trace support. Signal acquisition is completed by the A/D interface in LPC2220 and some peripheral circuit. Software design is based on ADS1.2 development platform, and utilizeμC/OS-Ⅱas operation system. And according to modularization design method the software of different functions was pack in different files, which could be called while necessary.Design emphasis of DSP based controller is precision of measure and system function complete. The ADSP-BF533 processors are enhanced members of the Blackfin processor family that offer significantly higher performance and lower power than previous Blackfin processors while retaining their ease-of-use and code compatibility benefits. Hardware synchronous sampling is used in this controller. AD7656 is utilized in data acquisition part to convert three phase voltage and current into digital signals, which produced by Analog Devices Inc. has 6-channel, simultaneous sampling bipolar 16-Bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC).
