Abstract

This paper introduce the feature of the eco-retaining wall, especally for the aspect of eco-protection, and the application on practical engineering. So far the computing and designing of the eco-retaining wall is based on the existing standard, such as the reinforced-soil retaining wall, where there are some deficits and limitation to do so. For instance, the existing designing method can’t exactly determin the actual displacement, the inner stress of the soil-grid, and can’t take the face-to-face contact of every two RXP blocks seriously. This paper has made a research on the eco-protection retaining wall’s computing methods, based on the Mayong River’s remediation engineering, and present the designing experiment by contrast with the common retaining wall. During the design and construction of the eco-retaining wall, eco-friendly structure is being took into concentrated consideration. Using the Midas-GTS software, this paper has made a analysis on the eco-retaining wall, in order to estimate the affect of height, soil-grid’s interval and its length on the stability of the retaining wall, and also to give a most recommended and suitable design schemes.
