The air traffic flow has increased a lot with the development of civil aviation, the resulting congestion are grown severe, especially in large urban hub airports, flight delays during peak hours which led to significant economic lost can not be underestimated, air traffic flow management became an important means to optimize traffic flow. This paper selected three key problems in ATFM including ground-holding problem, terminal aircraft scheduling problem and dynamic rerouting problem.First of all, the paper introduced the enhanced ground-holding problem under CDM principle with RBS and Compression algorithm being its essential idea, for the issue of fairness, the model was improved from two stages. In stageⅠ, it aims at keeping the arrive order similar to that generated by RBS while optimizing delay cost. In stageⅡ, it imitates Compression algorithm to ensure a fair slot trade between airlines while gain more punctuality rate. Secondly, in the aircraft scheduling problem, a in-depth study about the Eulerian network has been made, including the constrained element in airspace and the establishment of the corresponding network model. Euler network, in combination of the heuristic search algorithm, was utilized to search the optimal arrival sequence; the structure of combination and the interaction between two models are elaborated here. An example was shown to verify the advantage of this method over FCFS. Finally, we focuses on the dynamic rerouting problem, the uncertainty of weather was described by scenario tree, a brief introduction of how to identify scenarios and build a scenario tree was presented, following by the analysis to rerouting problem. As a contribution, we proposed a dynamic reroute and static ground-holding model (DRSG), including its objective function and constraints. Several cases has illustrated the validity and advantage of our model. Finally, it raised further research prospect on this area.
