Abstract


Today, English writing in international exchanges and cooperation plays an increasingly important role. However, due to China's school education has been inadequate attention on the teaching of English writing, so that in the current teaching of writing there are many problems. Currently, more cooperative learning teaching subjects to be applied and considered valid. English writing is also a need to introduce energy for all students, help students practice the language learning activities carried out in a comprehensive cooperative learning. This paper studies the college English writing teaching cooperative learning. Cooperative learning is by the American Slavin Johnson, who advocated a teaching theory and teaching strategies. Cooperative learning is a kind of group activities as the main form of classroom teaching strategies. It emphasizes learner-centered, focusing on the process of learners, teachers act as mentors, supervisors, helping role, trying to promote between teachers and students, life and interaction, thereby reducing pressure on learners and inspire students enthusiasm. This study attempts to grade students according to the situation on the basis of previous studies, in my secondary school where two regular classes for English teaching cooperative learning research, experimentation time is one semester. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter, Introduction section, this chapter describes the important writing and teaching of English writing problems, pointed out the purpose and significance of this study. The second chapter, literature review, a brief introduction of cooperative learning and related theories introduced English writing, collaborative writing theories and cooperation compared with the traditional method of teaching writing chapter, experimental part, a detailed study progression to introduce experimental subjects, experimental tools, including detailed preparatory work before the experiment and experimental classes and control classes teaching and data collection and analysis of data related to Chapter IV, Results and Discussion. In this chapter, the author analyzes the pretest, the pretest and posttest scores, analysis showed that the experimental class post-test scores significantly higher than the control class. Undertaking of five chapters, the experimental results points, indicating that cooperation can improve students' English writing skills. Also introduced the study authors found that the limitations and problems, and propose recommendations for further research in the future. Enrich the study of this century will be applied to cooperative learning teaching college English writing theoretical studies further confirmed in writing teaching cooperative learning plays an important role in promoting, helping improve the quality of English teaching in practice for creating high performance college English writing teaching model to do some useful attempt for English teaching reform provides a new idea.
