Abstract


In 2006, "several views on the overall increase of the quality of higher vocational education" (2006【16】document) was issued by State Ministry of Education, and it proposed a personnel training mode which advocated "vigorously promoting the work-integrated learning, highlighting the practical ability and reforming the personnel training mode". The purpose is to enhance the students’employment rate and quality through enhancing their comprehensive vocational quality. After several years of practice, the work-integrated personnel training model is proved to be consistent with the law of vocational education and our party’s education policy, thus is beneficial to the growth of high-quality skilled personnel.It can be said that as a personnel training mode and direction of modern higher vocational training, the work-integrated mode has greatly enhanced the sustainable development force of higher vocational college. But compared with developed countries abroad, the work-integrated learning personnel training mode of our country still has many disadvantages, such as the shortage of implement condition and the backward of management method. Therefore, while learning and referencing the advanced countries abroad, it is necessary to carefully summarize and arrange its subject, function and structure together with its practical implementation in order to find a long-term and all-around practicing way and managing method. Meanwhile, higher vocational institutions have to take the initiative to renovate new ideas, create conditions, promote the innovation mechanism of work-integrated learning personnel training, and construct a bridge among students, enterprises and institutions to achieve a good win-win situation of the three parties. Accordingly, to study the content, form, mode of operation and management model of the work-integrated learning personnel training mode in practice is of great practical significance in the current situation in which the higher vocational education of our country is in large-scale development.This paper takes the personnel training of Environmental Management College of China as an example and explores the practice of work-integrated learning model in higher vocational education. It further analyzes the innate law and essential requirement of this personnel training model and gives some suggestions on the innovation of the work-integrated learning model applied in our country’s higher vocational education.
