Starting with the fall semester of 2004 , China 's new high school curriculum reform in Shandong, Guangdong and Ningxia and Hainan provinces ( autonomous regions ) Trial . Senior Politics elective creation of a new a new high school curriculum reform . Experimental zone for the new high school curriculum reform in full swing , the ideological and political electives many of the problems encountered in the process of opening . In this paper , on the basis of research in Yantai City , Shandong Province Secondary School elective courses of the ideological and political status quo , through methods such as questionnaires and interviews , the analysis of the difficulties faced in the process of teachers and students in the political elective opened on the basis of the research analysis restricting political elective successfully opened main factors : the constraints of the college entrance examination system , teaching resources , the professionalism of teachers , students cognitive level . In this paper, through the analysis of these main factors , to reflect on the future of teaching recommendations have far-reaching significance for other provinces and cities across the country to carry out political elective . The paper consists of three parts : the first part of the analysis , senior politics elective courses opened background , set the content and create meaning .
