Abstract


The manufacturing industry is the pillar industry of the national economy in China , the export competitiveness of the manufacturing sector is an important manifestation of China's international competitiveness . In the process of the development of the foreign trade of China's manufacturing industry , the invaluable contributions of foreign direct investment . Since the reform and opening up , China has become the important areas of international direct investment , where the manufacturing sector is the main field of foreign direct investment . The inflow of foreign direct investment on China's manufacturing export trade had a significant impact . In this paper, the measurement tools for empirical analysis of foreign direct investment on China's manufacturing trade effect . This article first statistics of the calendar year, \the amount and source of investment , industry , distribution) were analyzed , and summarized the problems which exist . Then, the paper uses cointegration analysis , Granger causality test , panel analysis and measurement tools of the trade effect of the growth of foreign direct investment in China's manufacturing export total , the optimization of the structure of exports , and export competitiveness enhancement made ??empirical research the empirical results confirm the trade effects of foreign direct investment in the manufacturing sector . This paper also analyzes the foreign direct investment in improvements still need to promote the development of trade in manufactures . Finally, on the basis of the analysis of the empirical results with the status quo , the conclusions are summarized
