Abstract


In the 21st century, the logistics enterprises from foreign countries have been unceasingly exploiting Chinese markets Inventory management as the core of logistics management, is worth our research and reference. During the process of carrying out the informatization strategy of Chinese enterprises, the application of inventory management system is more and more popular, which provides broad market space for researching and developing inventory management system.This paper mainly discusses the design as well as development of information management system of products warehouse that is based on the actual situation of finished- goods warehouse in the NO.3 Hot Rolled Factory of Benxi Steel Corporation .It combines with scientific management methods and theories, using the three-layered architecture technique that consists terminals of client, server and database and utilizing ORACLE 10g database and ORACLEDEVELOPER.The business management of this system consists material warehousing, heaps moving, mobile tracking of main online equipments,etc..The warehouse is able to complete series of tasks such as warehousing finished goods, feeding material, rewarehousing and packing according issued instructions. This system mainly has the management function of command , cranes, warehouse area , system , equipment monitoring, statements and tracking .
