Abstract


Nowadays, tax service has been paid more and more attention by tax authorities. Based on the existing workflow for tax payment, PanZhiHua Local Tax Bureau exploits a set of self-help tax service system which aims to widen the channels for taxpayers and make taxpayers enjoy more convenient and fast tax service while they are in consciously performing obligations to pay taxes. PanZhiHua Local self-help tax service system involves information service functions, interactive applications functions and electronic tax payment functions. Taxpayers can easily achieve the effective communication with Local Tax Bureau and transfer data and information mutually via this system which will save a lot of human, material and financial resources among intermediate link.Based on the actual situation of PanZhiHua local taxation bureau existing tax service mode, developer analyses the deficiency of existing tax service mode and the practical significance of designing and developing the new system. The new self-help tax service system is designed with ASP and ADO as the main technology, meanwhile, IIS5.0 is used as a Web server, SQL server 2000 is used as the database and FrontPage is used as Web development tool. In addition, development environment is achieved through the configuration of Windows 2000 IIS server and establishment and setting of the background database, moreover, the front desk operation and background management is designed and developed by the following steps: analysis and design, software realization and system security. This paper introduces the details of development specific steps and application of technology via illustrations, and also some of the source program is explained in this paper.With the development of economy, PanZhiHua local taxation self-help tax service system will become the bridge between the taxpayer and tax officer, and it will be the indispensable mentor of taxpayer. It follows that information technology greatly increase the tax service level.
