Abstract


With the increasing complexity of applications and client platform , reliable and secure way to deploy applications to client computers will also be difficult to continue to increase , traditional applications can not keep up the pace gradually in 2004 , Microsoft made a smart terminal system (Smart Client) concept . Intelligent terminal system represents a new development model , users will experience a new software , you can have both the rapid response of the C / S mode software , rich user interface experience , and like a thin client end model as simple to deploy , upgrade . This paper describes the course of development of the intelligent terminal system , definitions and research status at home and abroad , and a review of the advantages and disadvantages of the fat client , thin client , as well as intelligent terminal system . Second, the paper discusses the intelligent terminal system architecture and related technologies involved . Finally, a design example of a complete intelligent terminal system . The user needs ; determine the principles of system design and development model ; system business process diagrams , and system functions by definition of the database table . Intelligent terminal system according to the different needs of CAB technology development specifications and interface principles and user interface services , controls , main form base class and interface initialization and access to the state to do the convention , and in accordance with the development process the actual needs , with user management , automatic updates , and forms . Finally, the performance of the system from the main frame and update both were tested. The test results show that the system needs all of the features of each function is also to achieve the desired effect . Intelligent terminal system technology to do a prospective study and useful attempt to master specific examples of intelligent terminal system technology in practice , and has played a catalytic role in the future of the program design and development work .
